Before you choose any community platform, ask

  1. What will you really sell? Estimate paying members and monthly revenue for the first three months. That number drives which plan and which fees matter.
  2. How do your members pay? Check the payment methods and currencies your audience actually uses, and who handles taxes.
  3. Can you leave? Ask whether you can export your member list and content if you move to another platform later.
  4. What do you need under your own name? Check whether a custom domain and branding are included in the plan you would pick.
  5. Where do your members already spend time? Think about mobile use and email before choosing where the community lives.
  6. What happens as you grow? Look up how price changes when you add communities, admins or more transactions.
  7. One tool or several? Decide whether courses, live calls and community in one place beat best-in-class separate tools for you.

These are questions, not claims about any platform. Check each answer on the platform's own pages.
